Carrie and Patti have been have been restoring treasured porcelain, pottery, ceramics, and figurines since 2018, when they founded Sundog Restoration Studio.
Before Sundog, both worked at Hamlin’s Restoration Studio, a well-regarded St. Louis-based studio. When the owner retired, they decided to continue the restoration work they loved — this time on their own. Patti handles email inquiries, shipping, day-to-day business operations, and the delicate work of dismantling and reconstructing broken pieces. Carrie manages calls and texts, meets with local clients, and completes each restoration as seamlessly as possible by filling, recreating missing elements, and painting. Because each brings a different skill set, nearly every piece that comes through the studio is a true team effort.
